Traci Lynn Martin is an accomplished endurance paddler, who has competed in numerous paddling races throughout the Midwest and has taken first place in women's solo races such as the Missouri River 340 (2011 & 2013) as well as many other regional races. In 2017 she attempted to become the first person to circumnavigate all 5 of the Great Lakes in one calendar year, and while she did not make that goal, she did become the first person to circumnavigate Lake Michigan, Lake Superior & Lake Huron in a surf ski. In the process she became the first person to circumnavigate the 3 largest fresh water lakes in one calendar year. bookmark
